Malakai

Through lack of attention, Malakai grew to be a problem for his owner. The young wolf dog became a yard ornament. His owner surrendered him out of frustration; “unapproachable,” she said. Malakai didn’t know how to be a family pet in the backyard of a townhouse in the suburbs of Houston. The only thing he learned was how to scratch his mange. By the time Malakai came to TWP he needed vet care and a lot of patience from the volunteers. He decided he prefers women and he loves being Waya’s roommate. Born in 2015, Malakai is a mid-content who has many years to be happy with a forever family. He’s an affectionate boy who gives kisses and loves tummy rubs. He is now very approachable.
