Two Socks

If you are looking for a goofy looking guy, then ask for me, Two Socks! Before you ask, my name isn’t a reference to my markings—it’s from the movie Dances with Wolves. I am a high content wolfdog and a total ladies’ man, charming each of the female dogs I’ve been penmates with. Before I came to TWP, I was found wandering around an unfenced ranch owned by a kind woman in Bastrop, Texas. I got along with all her animals—dogs, livestock, exotics—and while she wanted to keep me, she knew it was best I was sent to a rescue before I wandered off her property and into danger. Don’t let my face fool you! While my top jaw is crooked, I can still crush bones and meat like any other wolf-dog as well as give nibbles filled with love. Like a lot of high contents, I can be slow to warm up to new people, but I love getting scritches and belly rubs from volunteers. I go on walks, too! 

Potential adopters who are interested in Two Socks will need to have a large outdoor containment up to USDA standards and be aware of the special needs of high content wolfdogs.
