Yuki is a one‑year‑old wolfdog with a striking black coat and mesmerizing yellow eyes that seem to glow with quiet intelligence. Her story began in hardship — she was abandoned at a high‑kill shelter in Maryland — but her future is already looking brighter here at Texas Wolfdog Project. Now she’s searching for a home where she can finally feel safe, understood, and loved.

Yuki is naturally shy and takes her time warming up to new people, but once she trusts you, her affection is deep and genuine. She bonds strongly and loves with her whole heart. Watching her confidence bloom is one of the most rewarding experiences you can have with a wolfdog.

She absolutely adores running, exploring, and playing with her pen mate Duke, and she would thrive in a home with another compatible male dog who can help her feel secure. Structure, patience, and consistency will help her continue to grow into the loving companion she’s meant to be. Yuki does best in homes without other female dogs.
