Identification and Phenotyping: So you think your dog is part wolf?

Our goal is to help educate private owners and shelters on the process of breaking down traits to avoid misrepresentation and mislabeling of dogs and to help properly identify suspected wolfdog crosses.

  • What is phenotyping?
  • Who should phenotype a wolfdog?
  • What purpose does phenotyping serve?
  • How does misrepresentation and improper phenotyping hurt real wolfdogs and wolfy looking dogs?

We have a limited number of chairs, so please bring your own chair if you would like to sit for the presentation.
