Chilly

Chilly was born in April of 2024 in Ohio as part of an accidental litter. He and his sister, Pepper, were surrendered to TWP when they were four months old. They are both high content (95%+) Arctic-line wolfdogs. Chilly and Pepper were raised indoors for about six weeks before moving into an outdoor enclosure with their adopted dad, Bane, who they adore. 

Of the two siblings, Chilly is the more outgoing one. He's often willing to interact with strangers and can be very social with volunteers who put time and effort into getting to know him. He's also better on leash, but like all high-content wolfdogs, he is not overly keen on new experiences and must be sedated before car rides or vet visits. He's also currently at an age where he is using his mouth to explore the world around him, which can result in stolen phones and torn clothing if his behavior is not properly managed. All that being said, Chilly is a sweet boy with a lot of potential, and with the right owner, he could be an excellent example of a why high-content wolfdog can be pets when given the right environment to shine.

For Chilly and all of our other high content wolfdogs, we require a wolf-proof outdoor enclosure of at least 10,000 square feet, previous experience with the breed, and confirmation that you have secured a vet willing to prescribe the needed sedatives in addition to our other adoption requirements.
