Kid
Kid's story is a particularly sad one. His owner passed away from complications of COVID-19 when Kid was only six months old, and his owner's mother, a woman in her early 80s, stepped in to take Kid. Since her son had loved wolfdogs, she knew that her backyard was not fenced well enough for Kid, and even at six months, he was a large enough pup that she did not feel comfortable taking him out on walks. So Kid grew up from six months to two years of age in her living room. While he was well loved, this didn't give Kid a chance to learn about the outside world; so upon coming to the very different environment of TWP, Kid became much more timid than when we first met him in his more familiar environment. Kid will require a patient owner or foster who is willing to put in the work to help this boy overcome his fears and become the wonderful dog we know he is capable of being.
Kid is a mid-content who has been gene-tested and verified as 64% grey wolf.
